Application Engineer / Technician (5 days work)
Job Description:
Working with a sales team to provide hardware solution / system integration for customers (Application Engineer / Technician)
Frequent customer visits to identify needs, provide pre/post-sales technical support and conduct demonstrations (Application Engineer)
Troubleshooting and providing on-site support / maintenance (Technician)
Weekly activity report to the Manager
Requirement:
Technical Institute or Diploma or Degree Holder, preferably in IT, Industrial / Mechanical Automation or electronics
1 year or above working experience in IT field is preferred
Extensive experience with networking and serial communications media and protocols
Extensive experience with OS troubleshooting (Windows Server, Linux, Solaris)
Extensive knowledge on IT hardware products and server products
Experience in programming (VC++, java, database) is an advantage
Good interpersonal & communication skills, and also active & responsible in teamwork
Good command of spoken mandarin is an advantage
Fresh graduates will also be considered
**Candidate without experience but is interested to enter this field will be considered as Technical Trainee; less experience will be considered as Technician.
