Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)

Hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) is scale-out, software-defined infrastructure that converges core data services on flash-accelerated, industry-standard servers, delivering flexible and powerful building blocks under unified management. All key data center functions run in a tightly integrated software layer—delivering services that previously required purpose-built hardware.

HCI consists of three software components: compute virtualization, storage virtualization and management. The virtualization software abstracts and pools the underlying resources and dynamically allocates them to applications running in virtual machines or containers. Users enjoy a sleek new operational model where they manage the compute, storage and networking from a single tool. Advanced management features further reduce manual tasks or help automate entire operations.

Cyber World vSAN ReadyNodes™ focus on deploying VMware® vSAN™, a hyper-converged solution, as quickly as possible. vSAN provides you with the ability to provision and manage compute, network and storage resources from a single pane of management.

Working with VMware, Supermicro delivers an alternative to traditional Fiber Channel SAN based virtualization infrastructure, which is known for its complexity and interoperability challenges. Targeted at a multitude of use cases in tier 1/2 production workloads and Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), especially with all-flash Supermicro’s vSAN ReadyNodes™ introduce a new high performance storage tier optimized for enterprise-class virtual environments that is simple, resilient and efficient.

It is a perfect solution for Enterprises ROBO and SMBs to efficiently grow and manage virtualized infrastructure for maximum ROI.

A vSAN ReadyNodes™ is a preconfigured single or multi-node server hardware configuration for use with vSAN.

A Ready Node configuration includes specific type and amount of CPU, Memory, Flash, HDD, and I/O Controller devices within each server. Each vSAN ReadyNodes™ is classified by a Ready Node configuration profile.

vSphere provides a powerful, flexible, and secure foundation for business agility that accelerates the digital transformation to hybrid cloud and success in the digital economy. It helps you run, manage, connect and secure your applications in a common operating environment across the hybrid cloud.

With vSphere, you can support new workloads and use cases while keeping pace with the growing needs and complexity of your infrastructure.

Centralized visibility, simplified and efficient management at scale and extensibility across the hybrid cloud—all from a single console
VMware vCenter Server provides a centralized platform for managing your VMware vSphere environments, allowing you to automate and deliver a virtual infrastructure across the hybrid cloud with confidence.

VMware vSAN powers industry-leading Hyper-Converged Infrastructure solutions with a vSphere-native, high performance architecture. vSAN is a core building block for the Software-Defined Data Center.

VMware vSAN is a hyper-converged, software-defined storage (SDS) product developed by VMware that pools together direct-attached storage devices across a VMware vSphere cluster to create a distributed, shared data store.

The user defines the storage requirements, such as performance and availability, for virtual machines (VMs) on a VMware vSAN cluster and vSAN ensures that these policies are administered and maintained.

VMware NSX Data Center is the network virtualization platform for the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC), delivering networking and security entirely in software, abstracted from the underlying physical infrastructure.

NSX Data Center enables the Virtual Cloud Network, providing pervasive, end-to-end connectivity for your apps and data, wherever they are.
